Mesa Public Schools has long been the heart of our community. While the district is navigating realities such as declining enrollment, budget pressures, and the ongoing need to attract and retain excellent educators, these challenges do not define us. Every day, incredible things are happening in our classrooms—students engaged in rich learning, teachers innovating with passion, and schools partnering with families and the community to support learner success.

• I believe deeply in the MPS Promise: to know every student by name, serve them by strength and need, and ensure they are prepared for college, career, and community. Fulfilling this promise requires a strengths-based, future-focused mindset that recognizes the assets within our schools and builds on them strategically.

• I believe our long-term success depends on sustaining a strong commitment to the skills and attitudes outlined in our Portrait of a Graduate. These competencies are essential for today’s learners and must remain central alongside academic achievement.

• I am committed to supporting the educators and staff who bring this promise to life and to elevating the voices of families, community members, and business partners as essential allies. Governance should not be partisan—it should be centered on the students who walk through our doors each day and the staff who support them.

With my experience as a student, parent, and long-time employee of Mesa Public Schools, I am ready to serve with clarity, integrity, and a focus on supporting schools where every learner is known, supported, challenged, and prepared for their future.
